My name is Nina and I've been working at Bramer for almost 6 years. My favorite part of my job is all the new things I learn about animals every day. I recently registered to go back to school and earn credits to pursue my dream of being a veterinarian myself one day. It is never too late to fulfill a dream. When I'm not studying, I am exploring and enjoying the city of Chicago and visiting museums with my friends and family. Stopping for a coffee break at a cute café and a quick snack would be a highlight in my day.

After many years of owning both dogs and cats, there are currently no animals living in my house. While I wait for the "cat distribution system" to send a new furry friend my way, I've been feeding a feral cat in my neighborhood and protecting him from the battalion of sparrows that also resides in my yard. I also have a dozen orchids, 20 tomato plants, 4 cucumbers, a dozen peppers, and a lemon tree that I fuss over and spoil when I get home.
