I discovered my passion for veterinary medicine at the age of five, surrounded by a diverse array of small animals in my upbringing in Bogota, Colombia. My educational journey led me to graduate from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Within the field, I have developed a keen interest in surgery and internal medicine, with a focus on providing comprehensive care for both dogs and cats. Fluent in Spanish, I am committed to effective communication and understanding the unique needs of my clients.

Outside the veterinary realm, I embrace my free time by exploring new culinary experiences at restaurants, engaging in outdoor activities like kayaking, swimming, hiking, and biking with my fiancé. My loyal companion, Leo, an 80 lb Goldendoodle, joins me on my runs as I train for triathlons.
