My name is Bianca Pillay and I have been committed to the animal care industry for almost 20 years. I have always loved working with animals and that passion started as a child growing up in South Africa fostered by my Mom. I have had the honor of working with wildlife in Africa in the rehabilitation of orphaned primates and health management of various species, later embarking to the Shedd Aquarium as an aquarist and then branching to veterinary nursing with companion animals at various hospitals in Chicago before finally landing in a leadership role at Bramer Animal Hospital. It has been my life's mission to make a positive impact in the lives of animals I work with and what inspires me to continue my dream.  This leadership role as the Hospital Manager at Bramer Animal Hospital provides me with greater access to advocating for the best medical practice we can offer our pets and be impactful.  I am the proud parent of one human child and one fur child some may say I have a particularly soft spot for the Shih Tzu breed. I am obsessed with many things. Fun facts about me are my love for cooking, swimming, charcoal sketching, and my plants.
